Immediate opening: gtaw welder (Abia State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Isiala Ngwa North Local Government Area, Abia State. You will work on an industrial construction site. You should have: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight Your main tasks: • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job 1+ years on the tools preferred.
