Immediate opening: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in City of Covington, Virginia. The role involves: • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) Ideal candidate: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm Performance bonus on top of base pay.
