Immediate opening: we are hiring a smash repairer in Wright County, Missouri. What we are looking for: • Skilled in MIG welding and panel replacement • Steady hand for filler work and block sanding • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop Day-to-day duties: • Mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour • Check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull • Straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains • Measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line • Pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder • Mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting Full-time, day shift.
