Aluminium tig welder wanted in Lunenburg County

Join our team: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Lunenburg County, Virginia. You should have: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances Your main tasks: • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
