Vacancy available: steel erection rigger (Texas)

Now hiring: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Baylor County, Texas. Your main tasks: • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
