Glazing assistant wanted in Bronx County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a glazing assistant in Bronx County, New York. You will be based in a shopfront glazing company. Requirements: • Able to cut glass accurately to size • Proven experience as a glazier or glass fitter • Skilled with silicone guns, putty and glazing tools Your main tasks: • Measure window and door openings and order glass to size • Clean the finished glass and peel off the protective film • Secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points • Grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris • Install mirrors, shower screens and glass balustrades 1+ years on the tools preferred.
