Cnc lathe setter • City of Norfolk, Virginia

We are recruiting: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in City of Norfolk, Virginia. The job is in a precision engineering workshop. You will change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; load and index turning tools in the turret; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54). What we are looking for: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
