Great opportunity: lift maintenance fitter (South Carolina)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in Lancaster County, South Carolina. What we are looking for: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards Your main tasks: • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
