Canteen cook — Shelby County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a canteen cook in Shelby County, Missouri. The job is in a catering banquet kitchen. On a typical shift you will follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces; manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs; taste and adjust seasoning for consistency; label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in; monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks; cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations. You should have: • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
