Urgent requirement: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Jones County, South Dakota. The job is in a heavy engineering unit. You should have: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test You will lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions.
