Ideal candidate: • A good head for heights and steady balance • Working-at-height or scaffold safety certificate • Strong enough to lift tile packs and felt rolls all day Your main tasks: • Fix clay and concrete tiles onto the battens • Solder and seam standing-seam metal roof sheets • Replace cracked or slipped tiles and slates • Lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling • Bed and point ridge tiles with mortar Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
