Mechanical press operator — Woodford County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Woodford County, Illinois. You will work in a metal fabrication workshop. You should have: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards On a typical shift you will apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; record output and downtime on the production sheet; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components. Pay around $5,500 per month, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
