Steel fixing chargehand wanted in Bath County

Join our team: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Bath County, Kentucky. You will work at a rebar fabrication workshop. Your main tasks: • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors What we are looking for: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
