Join our team: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Suffolk County, Massachusetts. Ideal candidate: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate On the job you will handle: • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates Part-time with flexible hours.
