Gypsum plasterer — Grant County

Join our team: we are hiring a gypsum plasterer in Grant County, New Mexico. The role involves: • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat What we are looking for: • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
