Now hiring: we are hiring a laundry presser in Leflore County, Mississippi. You will be based in a tailoring workshop. Ideal candidate: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory The role involves hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number.
