The role involves measure up and template countertops and floor areas before cutting; seal natural stone against staining with impregnating sealers; fix marble cladding to building facades with anchors and clamps; cut out sink and hob openings in worktops on site; restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish. Ideal candidate: • Steady hand for edge profiling and a fine polished finish • Able to read measurements, templates and cutting lists Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
