Immediate opening: fabricator-welder (Oregon)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Curry County, Oregon. You will be based at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. Day-to-day duties: • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec Requirements: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Meals and transport allowance provided.
