Now hiring: we are hiring a butcher in Rio Arriba County, New Mexico. You will be based at a halal meat counter. On the job you will handle: • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date Requirements: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $5,200 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
