Refrigeration field service technician wanted in Putnam County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a refrigeration field service technician in Putnam County, Illinois. The job is on a customer's rooftop chiller plant. You should have: • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints The role involves: • Fault-find control boards and defrost timers • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system • Clean condenser and evaporator coils • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges • Service split AC units and VRF systems • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
