Gtaw welder — Bedford County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Bedford County, Virginia. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. On the job you will handle: • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) You should have: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
