Nursery worker — Cheshire West and Chester

Immediate opening: we are hiring a nursery worker in Cheshire West and Chester, England. You will work at a landscaping company. Ideal candidate: • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance On a typical shift you will plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs; operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed. 3+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
