Urgent requirement: we are hiring a double glazing installer in Jackson County, Kansas. You will be based at a glass and aluminium factory. Requirements: • Skilled with silicone guns, putty and glazing tools • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units Your main tasks: • Secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points • Seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead • Apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass • Handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame • Replace cracked or broken window panes • Cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers Rotating shifts.
