Steel fixing chargehand wanted in Thurston County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Thurston County, Nebraska. You will be based on a commercial tower construction site. Your main tasks: • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements Full-time, day shift. $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
