Immediate opening: we are hiring a groundworker in Dallas County, Missouri. The job is on a high-rise construction site. Requirements: • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day You will fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns; set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction; clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour; dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel; load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate; cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
