Lift erector wanted in Bristol County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lift erector in Bristol County, Massachusetts. You will be based at a busy lift company. On the job you will handle: • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox You should have: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Rotating shifts. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
