Urgent requirement: we are hiring an argon welder in Sheridan County, Nebraska. The job is at a busy sheet-metal workshop. Ideal candidate: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height Day to day you will select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $3,900 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
