Immediate opening: steel fixing chargehand (Texas)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Hale County, Texas. Your main tasks: • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder You should have: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations 5+ years on the tools preferred.
