Nursery worker — Washington County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a nursery worker in Washington County, New York. Day-to-day duties: • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades Requirements: • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
