Great opportunity: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Tangaza, Sokoto State. The job is in a busy laundry. The role involves: • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents You should have: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
