Cold store insulation technician • Richmond County, New York

Great opportunity: we are hiring a cold store insulation technician in Richmond County, New York. You will work on flat roofs and terraces. On a typical shift you will fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters; spray polyurethane foam onto walls and roof decks to the specified thickness; lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding; apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling; wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding; fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors. You should have: • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane • Willing to travel between sites Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
