Urgent requirement: we are hiring a panel welder in Mason County, Illinois. You will work at an automobile body shop. You will set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions. You should have: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances Pay around $4,800 per month, based on your experience.
