Join our team: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Charlton County, Georgia. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles Day to day you will read lift plans and method statements before starting; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
