Concrete worker • Clark County, Idaho

We are recruiting: we are hiring a concrete worker in Clark County, Idaho. You will be based at an infrastructure site. Requirements: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours The role involves: • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
