Immediate opening: we are hiring a joiner in Richmond County, North Carolina. You will be based on a busy construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain You should have: • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
