Now hiring: we are hiring a rebar installer in Meade County, Kentucky. You will work at a rebar fabrication workshop. What we are looking for: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) Day-to-day duties: • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
