Great opportunity: we are hiring a system scaffolder in York County, Virginia. The job is on an industrial refinery shutdown. The role involves: • Handle, sort and stack tubes and fittings for loading out • Read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class • Hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope • Lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips • Tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors You should have: • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang We offer $3,700 per month plus benefits.
