Now hiring: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Clinton County, Kentucky. You will be based in a steel fabrication workshop. Ideal candidate: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging The role involves: • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $5,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
