Fire and safety officer wanted in Clatsop County

Join our team: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Clatsop County, Oregon. You will work at an oil and gas facility. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry Ideal candidate: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
