Immediate opening: toolroom milling operator (Louisiana)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Saint Tammany Parish, Louisiana. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. The role involves keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines. Ideal candidate: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron 6+ years on the tools preferred.
