GMAW welder — Jema'A

Immediate opening: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Jema'A, Kaduna State. Day-to-day duties: • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls You should have: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
