We are recruiting: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Clare County, Michigan. You will secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area. Requirements: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
