Elevator service technician wanted in City of Bristol

Vacancy available: we are hiring an elevator service technician in City of Bristol, England. You will be based on a high-rise construction site. The role involves: • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays Requirements: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces We offer £2,650 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
