Now hiring: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Bedford County, Pennsylvania. You will work at a container port and shipping yard. Ideal candidate: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • A good head for heights for tower crane work You will fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands.
