Now hiring: we are hiring a PVC window fabricator in Shelby County, Illinois. Day-to-day duties: • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square What we are looking for: • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) 3+ years on the tools preferred.
