Immediate opening: we are hiring a banksman in Raleigh County, West Virginia. You should have: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles You will check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight.
