Vacancy available: we are hiring a floor and wall tile fitter in DeKalb County, Illinois. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • 2+ years' hands-on tiling experience • Physically fit for kneeling, bending and lifting tile boxes Your main tasks: • Lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level • Spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles • Set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges • Mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency • Make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits • Level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $140 per day, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
