Formwork joiner wanted in Manchester

Great opportunity: we are hiring a formwork joiner in Manchester, England. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. You will read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured. What we are looking for: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
