Join our team: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Scott County, Indiana. You will work at a textile finishing unit. You should have: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work On a typical shift you will set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching.
