Great opportunity: we are hiring a VMC operator in Ascension Parish, Louisiana. Your main tasks: • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter Requirements: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
